In the summer of 2018, a small group of internet music fans decided to create their own playlist, and the results are the most diverse list of all time.
They include songs from across genres, and are a testament to how much music can be made from a small band.
In fact, they were so successful that they became a YouTube sensation.
The list was compiled by the creators of the music streaming service Beatport, which aims to democratise music consumption.
The Spotify playlist had over 1.4 million views and over 1 million subscribers at the time of writing.
Beatport has a very specific philosophy in its music policy, and they have a strict set of rules about what they allow.
They also take into account the fact that they only want to provide the best music for their users, not the best streaming service.
“They said if they give the same music to everyone, then they can’t compete with Spotify,” Beatport’s head of business development, Nick Mowbray, told Mashable.
“They said that if you have a good streaming service and it’s good music, you should be able to compete with them.”
Mowbraya says Beatport was initially hesitant to include tracks that didn’t already exist, and so the playlist had to be curated to reflect what Beatport users had been listening to in the past.
But Beatport now has over 2 million subscribers, and has been downloaded more than one million times.
The playlist was curated by a group of Beatport subscribers, including users like Alex P.K. and Ryan W.C. It features tracks from artists like Kami, DJ Fresh, S.O.
S, and many more.
Mow brays the playlist was created by over 10,000 Beatport members, and he says that the playlist is the most comprehensive playlist on Beatport.
“It’s a very high-quality, curated music library,” Mow says.
“It’s very similar to what people have been listening too.
We have so many tracks that people have downloaded.
It’s almost like an extension of their Spotify listening experience.”
Picking a favorite is one of the most important things to do when trying to listen to music, Mowbays says, and while there are many great albums out there, there are a lot of songs that people don’t really get to hear.
“We know that people love hearing different music, so the only way to get people to listen is to give them the best,” Mows says.
“I think a lot is about the quality of the song, what it means, and what kind of vibe it has, and how it can relate to other songs.”
He also said that he thinks the playlist’s high-profile nature means that people will keep on subscribing.
“You get people subscribing, and you see people coming back and going back again,” Mower says.
He says that if the playlist gets popular enough, it might be possible for other streaming services to follow suit.
The majority of the songs on the playlist are songs that were released within the past year, but a few tracks were released earlier in the decade.
Mower explains that the idea of making the playlist as wide as possible is to ensure that all songs are represented in it.
“That means there are songs for everyone,” Mowers says.
The playlist features tracks by artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky, and more.
“There are so many songs that are amazing that we could have a playlist that was just one song, but there is a whole bunch of other great songs that we haven’t even touched on,” Mowls says.
