Apple Music, the streaming music service launched in late 2016, has rolled out an ad campaign featuring music and lyrics by the fictional character SpongeBob.
The campaign is titled “PANDORA” and features music and songs from the animated show.
The campaign, which was created by digital agency Pivot, will air on Apple Music in the US and Canada.
The ad features music from the show’s soundtrack and other licensed content.
It features lyrics from the SpongeBob song “Spongebobbins” from season six of the show.
Pivot, the firm behind the SpongeBobs campaign, said the campaign is part of the company’s “big, bold and bolder” vision for the streaming service, which Apple Music acquired in 2016 for $3 billion.
The company has been working on pandora music since May, when the company unveiled a teaser video for the new app in which the character makes a cameo.
The SpongeBob-inspired music is now available on Apple’s iTunes app and on Spotify, Apple Music said in a statement.
“Our goal is to deliver a powerful, engaging and immersive experience for the millions of people who will enjoy music from SpongeBob,” said Eric Lander, senior VP of product management at Apple Music.
“The SpongeBob music is a perfect fit for the platform and we look forward to sharing more information about this new app with our customers over the coming weeks.”
The new music features include songs from a variety of Apple’s music catalogue including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Queen, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd and others.
The music will be available for free for one week from Tuesday, September 20, through to Sunday, September 25.
