TechCrunch — Apple and Spotify are teaming up to launch a music service for the iPhone and Android.
The service, called Amazon Music, will allow people to purchase albums and tracks from Amazon directly from Apple and/or Spotify.
Amazon Music is currently only available on Apple’s iOS and OS X platforms.
The partnership marks the first official time that Amazon Music has been available on iOS.
Apple has previously partnered with Spotify on its streaming music service.
Spotify has also partnered with Apple on the streaming music platform.
Amazon’s first foray into the music streaming space comes after the two companies recently signed a $1 billion deal.
